The project: Bronze castings for a middle eastern

An international interior design company approached Demax with an enquiry for bronze balustrading. The basic design concept was initiated from an original casting from our castings library (see photo below). The main panel was altered from circular to elliptical and the details reduced proportionally in size to accommodate the various panel lengths. The posts were then incorporated into the design together with fixing clamps and bases. All the floral work and posts were carved by our own craftsmen from which our pattern maker then created all the necessary patterns (see bottom right). The bronze castings were fettled to a high standard before polishing, the patina was then applied before final finishing and trial assembly.
